Sochi Cogeneration Plant (Russian: ”Sochinskaya TES”) is a
thermal power station of federal level with an installed capacity of 78 MW. The
power plant is based in the major sea-mountain resort of Russia in Krasnodar
Region. It supplies Sochi daily energy consumption and is targeted to fully
provide energy during the XXII Winter Olympic Games 2014. Sochi Cogeneration
Plant is the flagship of the nation’s power industry in terms of its technical,
economic and environmental performance and it has no counterparts in
Russia.
